Les Mis Fandom Valentines |
This tumblr was inspired by the loli_valentines (and other such communities) community on LiveJournal!
In the Les Mis fandom, there can be a lot of hate and drama and dislike. However, the important thing is that there can also be a lot of love - and oftentimes, the love isn't what people concentrate on. It can be hard to tell people how much you admire them! This is where this community comes in. The idea is, much like a confessions blog, go into the ask and say how much you like a user and what you like about them or how much they contribute to the fandom. The idea is DEFINITELY NOT to be negative about them. All graphics are left without credits as to who submitted them. Any hate towards a user will be promptly ignored. Hopefully this will bring a little more love into the fandom! |

NotesHey! So you might have noticed, this blog’s been gone for a pretty long time!
I’m not going to get into “why” here because it’s a pretty personal and long story and I don’t want to clog the dashes of the people who still follow me. But basically, I’m reopening this blog!
For people who weren’t around, this blog was made during a time of conflict in the fandom and was intended to spread love! People could anonymously submit nice things about their friends which was then made into graphics so the love could be ~spread~ and basically it made everyone feel good about each other and restored a lot of my own hope in our fandom. Les Mis fandom’s a lot bigger now which means even more people to point out for how great they’re being!
So, yes! Go, submit URLs and nice things! Woo! Spread love!

I love every single person in this fandom, no matter what they have said or done, and no matter what their opinions are. Drama in this fandom just kills me— I want to take people by the hand and shout, “You’re so awesome! Why can’t you love each other as much as I love you?” There’s so much creativity and humor here, and I’m glad I’m involved.

I love everyone in the fandom. Yes, there has been fighting, insulting and drama. But I just wish everyone could learn to get along, to forgive each other, stop with the drama and move on. You’re all so awesome. I wish there wasn’t all this fighting, because you’re all great.

Chelsea (doh-rae-me) is one of the very kindest people I’ve ever met online. She’s intelligent, lovely and incredibly supportive. She’s passionate about what and whom she likes, but she never looks down on people who she doesn’t agree with. I’m grateful to know her a little bit, and generally glad to have her around.

TCRegan and keeping-up-with-the-amis are two big reasons why so much quality Les Mis fanfic have been coming about lately. Not only do they write so much of it, but they encourage and help others to do the same. Beyond that, they’re both wonderful people and amazing friends, and I am so grateful that I have met them!
